Information collected automatically
Like most websites, hosting, security and analytics services may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages and interactions with the site. This information helps operate, secure and improve the website.
Information a player provides
Contact forms, player profiles, court requests and local directories collect only the information needed to provide the requested service.
After confirmation, a player’s chosen playing name, approximate level and playing preferences are public. Email addresses are stored separately and never displayed in the public directory or supplied as a downloadable player list.
When an organizer sends an invitation, selected players receive it privately. The organizer’s reply address is available to those recipients. If a recipient replies, the recipient’s email address is shared with that organizer through the normal email reply. Neither address is published on Good Day Pickleball.
The directory is for adults. We record when a participant confirms being 18 or older; we do not request or store a birth date for this confirmation.
Passwordless access and security
Good Day Pickleball uses short-lived, single-use email sign-in links instead of passwords. Signed-in browser sessions use secure, HttpOnly cookies and expire. Invitation-control links are limited to one recipient and invitation, stored in hashed form and expire after 14 days.
Administrative player records are limited to the authenticated owner account. Hosting, database, security and email-delivery providers process information only as needed to operate the service. No internet service can promise absolute security.
Directory messaging and choices
Only confirmed directory members may organize invitations. Sending and recipient frequency are limited to reduce unwanted messages.
Every participant can pause invitations, resume them, leave individual courts, block an organizer, report misuse or permanently delete the player profile and associated directory data. Good Day Pickleball may suspend listings or messaging access when necessary to protect participants.
Retention
Unconfirmed signup records expire after seven days. Game invitation and delivery records are retained for up to 30 days after the scheduled game for abuse prevention, measurement and troubleshooting. Pseudonymous rate-limit records expire after two days. A confirmed player profile remains until the player deletes it or Good Day Pickleball removes it for safety or operational reasons.
Optional marketing email
Permission to receive confirmations, game invitations and service notices does not include marketing email. News, local-event information or equipment offers will be sent only when a participant separately selects the optional marketing permission. Commercial email will include an unsubscribe method. Marketing permission may be withdrawn at any time.
Third-party services
Embedded videos, social links, analytics tools, email-delivery providers and affiliate retailers may apply their own privacy policies when readers interact with them. Following an external link moves the reader to that third party’s service.

Email hello@gooddaypickleball.com with a privacy question or request. Signed-in players can delete their profiles immediately from My Profile / My Courts.
Policy updates
This policy may be revised as the site adds or changes directories, communications or other services. The effective date above identifies the current version.
