A tennis professional who found his breakthrough in pickleball

He became a three-time ITA All-American, earned four All-PacWest First Team selections and received honors including National ITA Player to Watch, team MVP and HPU Male Athlete of the Year.

Pickleball eventually became his full-time competitive focus, with his placement, improvisation, two-handed backhand and ability to construct the next ball carrying directly from tennis into the professional game.
What defines Jaume Martinez Vich’s game?
Martinez Vich uses placement, improvisation and a two-handed backhand to build points. He has said that competing as a smaller tennis player taught him to think through patterns, find openings and anticipate the next ball.
