A tennis background built for fast doubles

Bright arrived in professional pickleball after four seasons of varsity tennis at the University of California, Berkeley. She finished her senior season with a 20–3 singles record, led the Golden Bears in singles victories and completed her college career with 96 singles wins.

The PPA describes Bright's professional identity through fast hands, consistency and anticipation. Those strengths translate directly to doubles, where her compact counters and aggressive two-handed backhand allow her to pressure opponents in rapid exchanges near the kitchen line.
